The opportunity

Help shape the way our future students discover three of the world’s best-known creative colleges.

Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts are seeking a Student Marketing and Recruitment Manager to lead the planning and delivery of student recruitment activity across the colleges. From Open Days, College Tours and Offer Holder Events to online events and wider recruitment activity, you’ll create engaging experiences that help prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students understand what studying at UAL could offer them.

Working closely with course teams, marketing colleagues and teams across the University, you’ll make sure recruitment activity connects effectively with our digital promotional and conversion campaigns. You’ll use insight and performance data to understand what works, manage the recruitment events budget, develop messaging and content for key channels, and help build awareness of our Colleges across UK and international markets.

You’ll also manage two members of staff and a team of Student Ambassadors supporting our recruitment events.

Your profile

You’ll bring experience of successfully leading and delivering events, alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and resources effectively. You’ll be a confident communicator who can adapt your approach for different audiences, build positive relationships with prospective students and colleagues, and work collaboratively across a complex organisation.

You’ll also have experience of motivating and managing others, be comfortable using data to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement, and bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to your work. Knowledge of art and design, creative arts higher education or the wider creative and cultural industries would be an advantage.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in attracting the next generation of creative talent to Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon, while helping deliver an excellent experience for prospective students from their first enquiry through to enrolment.
